December Announcements
We will be sending a team of ten people to Ensenada, Mexico, from December 3-4 to partner with our missionaries in Mexico to share the love of Christ with the people there. The team will distribute shoebox gifts and to serve the people in the local church in Ensenada.
“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” – 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (ESV)
A special combined English-Chinese Service will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
Immediately following the service, New Life will hold its Annual Membership Meeting. The meeting will include reports on the work God has done and is doing through our various church ministries as well as the affirmation of new deacons to serve on the Governing Board. The Annual Membership Meeting is open to all, but church members are especially encouraged to attend.
New Life is hosting its 8th annual Christmas Banquet on December 18, 2010 at 6:00 pm.
Come join us for food, fun and fellowship as we celebrate our Lord’s coming and share the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with some of our most time honored Christmas traditions. Please RSVP to Elder Sek Yee Chang by December 12.
