March Announcements
Membership & Baptism Class is being offered again this month. If you are interested in committing to New Life and/or need to get baptized as a result of your faith in the gospel, please speak to Pastor Moses. The class will meet March 11th, 18th and 25th (all Sundays) upstairs of the Christian Education Building at 1:00PM.
“… Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the gift is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” – Acts 2:38-39 (ESV)
We will be participating in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine event this year to raise money as well as awareness for world hunger. We will be holding our famine event on March 30-31. All are encouraged to get involved by either fasting, praying or donating.
“‘For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” – Matthew 25:35-40 (ESV)
