“Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.” (Matthew 25:40)
Caring and loving our neighbors is one of the duties of Christians. We love because God loves us first! During this COVID-19 pandemic, the New Life Actions’ main service project is to make face shields and donate them to the medical and nursing institutions nearby our church.
Due to the high demand for face shields in medical institutions, we urgently need Youth and Adult volunteers to make them available. If you are willing to help, please contact us by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
NOTE: The hours that the youth serve making these face-shields gives them credit towards earning the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
What is The President’s Volunteer Service Award?
In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too. The PVSA is awarded to volunteers who have set themselves part from their peers by achieving service milestones in a 12-month period. It is a tremendous honor and allows dedicated volunteers to serve as an example that encourages other to take action. The awards are offered in multiple levels and are designed to recognize each milestone of their service achievements. Levels include bronze, silver, gold. The recipients will receive medal, certificate, and a congratulation letter from the President.
New Life Christian Alliance Church is honored to be one of the Certifying Organizations.
