Our History

New Life Christian Alliance Church was born over 30 years ago as the result of a joint effort by the Christian & Missionary Alliance South Pacific District, the Whittier Alliance Church and the Chinese Alliance Church of Orange County. Consistent with our roots in a denomination devoted to spreading the gospel and making disciples of all peoples, the Whittier Alliance Church saw an opportunity to help fulfill the Great Commission (Matt 28) by partnering with the Chines Alliance Church of Orange County to reach what was, at the time, otherwise small and overlooked minority groups in the area. From that effort, a new church was formed. Today, we are one church that worships in different languages, but united in leadership, vision and enduring commitment to follow Jesus.
