The desire of our leadership team is to see New Life glorify God in worship, encourage and build each other up, and reach out and serve the needs of the local community to the best of its ability.
As an atheist college student, Senior Pastor Andy Noch committed to a life with Christ after reading the Gospel of John. Since then, he has planted two churches, served as a missionary to Ethiopia, and earned three graduate degrees, including a doctorate in ministry. He plays five instruments, loves to travel, and enjoys having coffee with people. He is married to Suzannah, with whom he has three adult children.
God had his hand on Chinese Ministry Pastor Andrew Chen‘s life from birth as his survival from premature complications was truly a miracle. With a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Emory University, he worked in the secular world but felt God calling him into full-time ministry. This led him to earn a Master of Divinity and pursue his second PhD at Logos Evangelical Seminary. He and his wife, Tiffany, have two sons attending college.

Pastor of Student Ministries Nate San was saved at age 17 and committed himself to serving Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. He has 20 years’ of experience in next-generation ministry, church planting, pan-Asian leadership, and campus recruitment for Simpson University. He loves making all students feel included and cared for. His desire is to be a catalyst for students to become fully devoted Christ-followers. Nate is a huge Marvel fan who has numerous collectibles. He is married to his wife Jasmine, and they have one son, Kairos.
Elder Daniel Chang was born and raised right here in Southern California. New Life is the church family that introduced him to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, where he was baptized, and where he has been a member for more than 25 years. He is a full time dad and – whenever he can find some spare time – practices law as a licensed attorney. He and his wife, Ruth, have three young children.
Elder Sek Yee Chang immigrated from Hong Kong in 1969. He received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 1980, serving the local church ever since. He was elected to be an Elder in 2000. He was a Systems Engineer with Raytheon Company when he retired in 2006. He is married to Angelia; they have three adult children and four grandchildren.
Elder Timothy Pang was born in Hong Kong, where he received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in the sixth grade. He came to the US in 1986 and has attended New Life since 1997, where he loves teaching the Bible in small groups and Sunday School. He works at Logos Evangelical Seminary as their Accounting and Administration Manager. In his free time, Timothy enjoys swimming and eating at In-and-Out Burger. He married Rebecca in 1997 and they have two children.
Elder Jesse Jen immigrated from Taiwan in 1978. He accepted Jesus Christ as Savior in 2007 here at New Life. In May 2018, he graduated from Talbot Seminary with a Master’s degree in Biblical Exposition. His passion is teaching God’s word and loves seeing it impact people’s lives. In 1998, he received a Master’s degree in Management Information System (MIS) at Claremont Graduate School. He was an information systems manager with American Honda Company for 30 years, retiring in 2015. He loves to travel with his wife, Sarah, and has seven adult children.
Elder David Wang immigrated from Taiwan in 1971. He was born again in college and has worshiped and served in different churches in Taiwan and in the US. In 1980, he participated in the incorporation and the construction of a new church in southern California and served there for over 20 years before joining New Life in 2005. He is a California registered civil engineer who is now retired after working for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works for 30 years. He is married to his wife, Linda, and they have two sons and three grandchildren.
